Provision Client in Ubersmith Order Module Estimated Reading Time: 3 Minutes The Provision Client module is one of the order modules in the Order Form Wizard. When an order runs through this module, it creates a new client account. If a "lead" client is already tied to the order, the module activates or updates that client instead. The module applies the billing and contact information from the order. This includes credit card and ACH bank account details, billing agreements, tags, and Client MSA data. Warning: Configuration is required, not automatic! This module needs configuration. You set its behavior on Step 5 of the Order Form Wizard, described below. Step 5 controls which fields the module fills in, whether the client sees each field, and whether the client can edit each field. Where to configure it Go to Settings > Order Queues. Select the relevant order queue. Open Order Forms. Launch the wizard for the order form that uses this module. Go to Step 5: Client Contact Information. The Order Form Wizard has 7 steps in total: Order Form Details Primary Service Options Select Add On Services Add On Service Options Client Contact Information (configures the Provision Client module) Billing/Payment Options Look & Feel Step 5 options At the top of the step are two checkboxes: Allow existing clients to use order form to add services to their account Auto-generate new clients' password? What happens when the order runs If the order has no client, the module creates a new client account with the fields configured above. If the order is tied to an existing "lead" client, the module activates or updates that client instead. If the auto-generate option is enabled, the module also generates a password. The module attaches any credit card or ACH bank account information from the order to the client. The module also stores billing agreements, tags, and Client MSA data from the order on the client record. Tags: Sales, Account Management
