Send Welcome Letter Order Module Estimated Reading Time: 1 Minutes The Send Welcome Letter module is an order module you can attach to a step in an order queue. When an order reaches this step, the module sends a welcome email for each service on the order that doesn't already have one. It fills in the Subject, Body, and Reply-to fields from the service's plan. If the plan doesn't have its own welcome letter text, the module falls back to the class-wide default. Warning: Note automatic by default.Whether this module runs without staff review depends on the Automatic setting for its step, configured in Settings > Order Queues > [queue] > order steps. This setting defaults to No. If Automatic is on, the welcome letter sends immediately when the order reaches this step. No one needs to review or click anything. If Automatic is off (the default), a staff member must open the order and click Process. This opens a popup with the pre-filled Recipient, Reply-to, Subject, and Body. The staff member can edit any of these fields, then click Process again to send the letter. Note: The module has no settings of its own — its Config tab is empty. The only per-step setting that affects its behavior is Automatic. For an order with more than one service, the module only sends a welcome letter for an add-on service if that service's plan has Offer Welcome Letter enabled. It always attempts to send one for the order's primary service.
