Adding Order Queues Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes Once a client signs a quote, or submits an order form, the order moves into an order queue. Each queue runs its own sequence of steps and actions that provision the order. Access the Order Queues Page Go to Settings > Order Queues. Note: Use View to switch between Active and Deactivated queues. Each active queue's row has order forms (its order forms), edit, and deactivate actions. A deactivated queue's only action is activate. Adding an Order Queue Click Add New Order Queue. If more than one language is installed, a tab appears for each language. Enter language-specific fields (name, subject, template) on each tab. Enter an Order Queue Name. Set Allow Sales Quotes to Yes to let this queue be selected in the Sales Dashboard's Add Opportunity section. When a quote using this queue is signed, Ubersmith creates the order in this queue. Under Email, enter a From Address, Subject, and Template for the email Ubersmith sends when an order isn't completed. Click View Variables to see the variables you can use in the template. Under Confirmation, choose a Type: Default Text — shows the text already configured on the order form. No further fields appear. Custom Text — adds three template fields: Automated Payment Success, Automated Payment Failure, and Manual Payment. Each has its own View Variables link. Redirect to External URL — adds an External URL field. Ubersmith loads this URL after the order is submitted, instead of showing a confirmation message. Click Save, or Save & New to add another queue immediately. After Creating a Queue A new queue has no steps yet. Click edit on the queue's row to open Manage Order Queue, where you add the Order Steps (for example, Leads, Processing, Provisioning, Billing) and the Order Actions within each step (such as Provision Client, Send Notification to Admins, or Activate Services) that actually process orders through this queue. Use Update Queue Details on that page to reopen the settings from this article.
