Managing Leads Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes Once you have created a lead, you can perform various actions on it.Access the View Lead PageFrom the Ubersmith Dashboard, click Sales.The Sales Manager Dashboard appears.From the Sales Manager Dashboard, click View Leads. The Leads page appears.Click the ID link of the lead you want to manage. The View Lead page appears.Editing LeadsAccess the View Lead page.From the View Lead page, click Edit Lead. The Edit Lead page appears.Make any necessary updates.NoteIf you need to change the lead's email address, you must first provide your current password in the Address & Contact Information section.Click Save.Changing Lead Email AddressesEmails are sensitive information. If compromised, the account can result in lost communication, or a stolen identity. In order to change an account password securely, you must enter your Ubersmith password to confirm the change.Access the View Lead page.Click edit in the Address & Contact Information section. The Edit Lead page appears.In the Email field, select edit. The Email field enables.Enter the new email address.Click Save. A password confirmation window appears.Enter your password.Click Continue.Deactivating LeadsIf you deactivate a lead, you will remove that lead from the Leads page, but any associated opportunities will remain.Access the View Lead page.From the View Lead page, click Deactivate Lead. The Deactivate Client page appears.Click Deactivate Client.Reactivating LeadsEither search for the deactivated lead through the Search section or the Sales Dashboard, Open Opportunities section.Click on the lead’s name. The View Client page appears.Click Reactivate Client. The Reactivate Client page appears.Click Reactivate Client. The View Lead page appears.Converting Leads to ClientsYou can convert a lead to a client at any time, either manually or automatically. When a service is sold, the Order Manager automatically converts a lead to a client when the order’s Provision Client order action is run. The steps below explain how to do this manually.Access the View Lead page.Click Edit Lead. The Edit Lead page appears.From the Account Info tab, in the Status field, select Active.Click Save.
