Adding Quotes Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes A quote lets you offer priced services to a lead or client, with online signing. Once a client signs a quote, its services become an order in the Order Manager. Accessing the Add Quote Form Open Add a Quote (or Add Quote) from any of these pages: A client or lead's profile, under Sales > List Quotes. An opportunity's View Opportunity page, in the Quotes section. The global Quotes list, if you have rights to quote for more than one client. Completing the Add Quote Form In Name, enter a name for the quote. Set Assigned to (the responsible user), Contact, and Status (Draft, Waiting Approval, Open, Persistent, or Cancelled). Choose an Order Queue (required — the queue that processes the resulting order once the quote is signed). In Term, enter a number and choose Months or Years. In Expires on, enter an expiration date, if any. In Notes, enter any internal notes. Click Save & Add Service to continue to the Add Service form, or Save to save the quote without adding a service yet. Adding a Service to the Quote Service Info Tab Set Description, Service Plan, an optional linked Opportunity, Quantity, Billing Period, Discount, Billing Calculated (By Month or By Period), Setup Discount, and Setup Fee Quantity Sensitive. Under Pricing & Options, set an optional Contract Term, Assigned Facility, and Rate Plan, and enter the item's Price and Setup Fee. Taxes Tab Choose a Tax Engine: Internal Tax Engine or SureTax. With the Internal Tax Engine, check which of your instance's configured tax rates apply. With SureTax, set the Situs Rules for US/Canada and non-US/Canada, a Transaction Type Code, and Zip Code and Point-to-Point Zip Code fields, for both the item price and its setup fee. Notes Tab Enter notes about the service that will be visible on the quote. Custom Fields Tab Complete any custom fields your instance has configured for quote services. Click Save, or Save & New to add another service to the same quote.
