Configuring SSL Providers Estimated Reading Time: 1 Minutes SSL Providers provide certificates that connect websites with companies. Ubersmith provides connections with Comodo, GeoTrust, GlobalSign, OpenSRS, and eNom. You can also establish your own certificate, as self signed.Access the SSL Providers PageFrom the Ubersmith Dashboard, click Settings. The Ubersmith Settings page appears.From the Clients-Services section, click SSL Providers. The SSL Providers page appears.Complete the SSL Providers SectionDifferent fields display depending on which SSL provider you have selected. If your selected provider does not match the fields below, continue to the next step until you complete the configuration.In the SSL Provider field, select the SSL provider you are using.In the Username field, enter your username for the SSL provider site.In the Password field, enter your password for the SSL provider site.In the Private Key field, enter your private key for the SSL provider site.In the Partner Code field, enter your partner code for the SSL provider site.In the Mode field, select Test or Live.In the Customer Validation field, select either By Comodo or By Host.Click Update.Self Signing SSL CertificatesYou can upload your own CA Certificate and CA Private Key. This generates self-signed certificates without reaching out to a third party SSL provider. These certificates generally register an error with web browsers and other SSL/TLS aware clients, as they are not signed by a trusted Certificate Authority.In the SSL Provider field, select Self Signed.In the CA Certificate field, enter your certificate authority (CA) certificate details.In the CA Private Key field, enter your certificate authority (CA) certificate private key.In the CA Private Key Passphrase field, enter your certificate authority (CA) certificate private key passphrase.Click Update.
