Adding Languages Estimated Reading Time: 1 Minutes You can add any language that is either already included in Ubersmith or has been added (see Translating Ubersmith) in order to translate your interface. The following translations are included with Ubersmith by default: American (en_US) and United Kingdom English (en_GB) Argentinian Spanish (es_AR) French Canadian (fr_CA) Portuguese (pt_PT) Swedish (sv_SE) Traditional Chinese (zh_TW) and Simplified Chinese (zh_CN) Note: If you want to use a language other than the default ones provided by Ubersmith, you must configure your Ubersmith instance with specific locales before you can translate your interface. See Translating the Ubersmith Interface for more information. Access the Languages Page From the Ubersmith Dashboard, click Settings. The Ubersmith Settings page appears. From the Global Settings – Your Company section, click Languages. The Languages page appears. Complete the Add Language Page Click Add New Language. The Add Language page appears. In the Language Locale field, select the locale you want to add to the interface. In the Language Name field, enter the name of the language. In the Name Convention field, select how to display your client’s name in the selected language. In the Date Formatting field, select the date format to use for the selected language. In the Language Description field, enter text to describe the language. Select the Is Default Language field, if you want the language to be used as the system default. In the Language status field, select Active to enable the use of the language, or Inactivate to disable the use of the language. Selecting Active will display the languages flag on the Ubersmith Login page, which you can select to translate your interface.
