Configuring the BitPay Plugin Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes The Bitcoin BitPay plugin accepts cryptocurrency payments from your clients. Client payment forms are cryptocurrency, and Bitcoin converts and pays Ubersmith in the configured currency. Bitcoin will also convert any refunds back to cryptocurrency before it’s return to your client. It is assumed that you already have an existing BitPay merchant account. If your client pays their invoice using cryptocurrency, select BitPay as the payment method on the invoice. Your client then accesses their cryptocurrency account to complete the transaction. Ubersmith listens for the incoming payment, and completes the payment, marked as BitPay when it comes through. If a BitPay refund is issued, the refunded payment is logged in the Ubersmith Refunds report and they payment is sent back to your client’s cryptocurrency account.
