There are two methods for logging into Ubersmith. The first is an initial login, and the second method includes an initial login followed by two-factor authentication, which adds an extra layer of security. This topic contains both methods.

Admin, client, and contact users can all use two-factor authentication to add another layer of security when logging into Ubersmith. This method requires users to download a two-factor authentication application to a mobile device, add the functionality to Ubersmith, and then enable it for users. After entering your user name and password during the initial Ubersmith login, you are prompted for a single-use code to complete the login process. This code can be access from your mobile device, or verbally communicated over the phone. This section contains steps for logging into Ubersmith as both an admin user and as a client and/or contact user.
After completing the initial login, the two-factor authentication window appears.
Complete the two-factor authentication window as follows:
Push: A request is pushed to your mobile device. Approve the login through your third-party two-factor authorization application.Phone call: Your mobile device will receive a phone call. Follow the automated instructions to approve your login.Passcode: On your mobile device, access your third-party two-factor authentication application to look up your passcode. Enter the passcode in the Ubersmith passcode field to continue.
