You can add any appliances you have, so Ubersmith’s Device Manager can connect to them. Appliances are used by device modules that can be configured to manage different aspects of your network. Appliances monitor your network hardware via SNMP and collect data like bandwidth, power and environmental statistics from your datacenter.

Access the Appliances Page

1. From the Ubersmith Dashboard, click Settings.
   
   The Ubersmith Settings page appears.
2. From the Global Settings – Integrations section, click Appliances.
   
   The Appliances page appears.

Complete the Add Appliance Page

1. From the Appliances page, click Add New Appliance.
   
   The Add Appliance page appears.
2. In the Name field, enter the name of the appliance.
3. In the Address field, enter either the IP address or the hostname.
4. In the Username field, enter the appliance’s username.
5. In the Password field, enter the appliance’s password.
6. Click Save.
