The CloudStack plugin allows you to bill for CloudStack usage. Configure the details for your CloudStack installation, as well as the individual prices for the resources, in order for Ubersmith to bill your clients. It is assumed that you are already using or have installed CloudStack.

In order to begin billing for this service, you need to configure Ubersmith. Once all the necessary pieces have been configured, any current or new service based on the service plan will be ready. The configuration steps are as follows:

1. Enable the CloudStack plugin.
2. Configure the CloudStack plugin (below).
3. Create a generic CloudStack billing service plan.
4. Configure the usage section in the CloudStack service plan.
5. Create a CloudStack billing service.

Configuring the CloudStack Plugin

1. In the CloudStack API URL field, enter type your CloudStack API URL.
2. In the CloudStack API Key field, enter your CloudStack API key.
3. In the CloudStack Secret Key field, enter your CloudStack secret key.
4. In the Root disk pricing method field, select either Per fixed disk size or Per GB.
5. In the Request Timeout field, type your desired timeout in seconds. Using zero results in no timeout and is not recommended, because it can result in daily invoice runs being blocked if your host is unreachable.
