When the module runs, any domain names in the order are automatically registered with your appropriate TLD configured registrar.


Setting Up the Order Action

  1. In the Domain Name field, enter the name of the domain. You can enter a particular domain name, such as ubersmith.com, or leave it blank to register the domain specified in the Server/Domain (packX[server]) field in an order form, where X is the service index such as pack1 for service1. For example, <input id="pack1[server]" name="pack1[server]" type="text" value="" />. The packX[server] field is included in the Order Form Wizard.

  2. In the Registration Period in Years field, enter the number of years you want to register for.
  3. In the Attempt Transfer if Domain is Registered field, select Yes if you want to try to register the domain when it is already registered.

Automating Domain Registrations

  • Configure your registrar and TLD.
  • Create a service plan for registering domains and TLDs.
  • Create an order queue with the following configurations:
    -Add the Register Domain order action. 
    -Leave the Domain Name Field field empty.
  • Create an order form with the following configurations:
    -Choose the service plan from step2.
    -Add the following fields:
       Service Description
       Server/Domain Name
       First Name
       Last Name
       Company
       Address
       City
       State
       Zip Code
       Country/Territory
       Fax
       Email
