Managing Domains

Once you have added a domain you can perform various actions on them, and with their corresponding top-level domains (TLDs)and secondary level domains (SLD). An SLD is the first part of the web address, such as bestinsurance in www.bestinsurance.com and a TLD is the last part of the web address after the dot, such as .com.

Access the Current Domains Page

1. Access the Client Profile page.
2. Select Account Mgmt and click List Domains. The Current Domains page appears.
   

Filtering and Sorting Domains

You can customize the All Domains list by filtering and sorting your client’s domains.

1. Access the Current Domains page.
2. In the SLD field, enter the secondary level domain (SLD) and click the arrow. The SLD is the first part of the web address, such as bestinsurance in www.bestinsurance.com.
3. In the TLD field, enter the top level domain (TLD) and click the arrow. The TLD is the last part of the web address after the dot, such as .com
4. In the View field, select either current domains, all domains, premium domains or expired domains.
   

Viewing Domains

You can access a read-only view of your client’s registered domains.

1. Access the Current Domains page.
2. For the domain you want to view, click details.
   
   The Domain Details page appears.
3. Click Cancel to close the page.
   

Renewing Domains

You can renew a registered domain that was added to the Current Domains page, except for ones that were manually added.

1. Access the Current Domains page.
2. For the domain you want to renew, click renew. The Renew Domain page appears.

3. In the Number of Years field, select the number of years to renew the domain.

4. In the Auto-Renew field, select Yes to have your domain service auto renew.

5. Select the Premium Price to Confirm field to acknowledge the domain name is considered premium by the registrar.

6. Click Renew.
   
   

Editing Domains

Once a registered domain has been added to Ubersmith, you can update the service, registrar login credentials, active nameservers, and your client’s registrant information.

1. Access the Current Domains page.
2. For the domain you want to edit, click edit.
   
   The Edit Domain Registration page appears.
3. Make any necessary updates. Refer to Adding, Transferring or Registering Domain Names.
4. Click Save.
   
   
   

Removing Domains

Removing domains deletes the domain registration from Ubersmith but does not cancel the domain with that domain’s registrar.

1. Access the Current Domains page.
2. For the domain you want to remove, click remove.
   
   A confirmation window appears.
3. Click Yes.
