Power Management

The Power Management service module controls power outlets ports for any associated devices. When a service is suspended or canceled, the power outlet port is disabledturned off. When a service is reactivated, the power outlets made activeports is turned back on.

In order to begin billing for this service, you need to configure Ubersmith. Once all the necessary pieces have been configured, any current or new service based on the service plan will be ready. The configuration steps are as follows:

1. Create a generic power management billing service plan.
2. Configure the Power Panel device module.
3. Configure your power device to ?????.
4. Add the Power Management service module to your service plan.
5. Create a power management billing service.
6. Configure the service plan with the service module fields.
7. Associate your device to your service.
