There are two methods for logging into Ubersmith. The first is an initial login, and the second method includes an initial login followed by two-factor authentication, which adds an extra layer of security. This topic contains both methods.

Access the Login Page

• From an Internet browser, navigate to your Ubersmith URL (web) address.

• The Ubersmith login window appears.

1. In the Username field, enter your Ubersmith user name.

1. In the Password field, enter your Ubersmith password.
2. Select the appropriate language flag, if you want to translate your interface to that language.
3. Click Login.

Using Two-Factor Authentication

When logging into Ubersmith, you can add an extra layer of security, called two-factor authentication to add another layer of security when logging into Ubersmith. This method requires users to download a . Before you can log in using two-factor authentication application to a mobile device, add the functionality to Ubersmith, and then enable it for users. After entering your user name and password during , you must first add a two-factor module. After completing the initial Ubersmith login, you are prompted for a single-use code to complete the login process. This code can be access from your mobile device, or verbally communicated over the phone. This section contains steps for logging into Ubersmith as both an admin user and as a client and/or contact user. 

Admin Users

After completing the initial login, the to log in using your configured two-factor module. The steps vary based on which multi-factor application.

1. Complete the two-factor authentication window as follows:
   Device: Ensure your device’s number is displayed.
2. Select the appropriate method to receive your authentication code.  Push: A Push is recommended. An authentication approval request is pushed sent to your mobile device. Approve the login through your third-party two-factor authorization application.

   Phone call: Your mobile device will receive a phone call. Follow the automated instructions to approve your login.

   Passcode: On your mobile device, access your third-party two-factor authentication application to look up your passcode. Enter the passcode in the Ubersmith passcode field to continue.

3.  Click Log In. 
   The Ubersmith Welcome window appears.

1. Complete the two-factor authentication window as follows:

• On your mobile device, access TOTP application to locate your two-factor token.

• From Ubersmith, enter the token key and click Submit.

The Ubersmith Welcome window appears.

2. From your device, accept the request.
