The bandwidth utilization graphs provided within Ubersmith should be easy to understand at a glance, but here is a detailed explanation of the key and other items on the graph.
- Y-axis (bottom to top - rate of data transfer, usually in Mbps.
- X-axis (left to right) - time, usually viewed by the month
- Graph Key and Summary Data
- Outbound traffic (Green). The values displayed on the key are the maximum, minimum, and current, or last rate observed during the period displayed on the graph.
The values in [brackets] represent the total transfer used during the period displayed on the graph. - Inbound traffic (Blue) The values displayed on the key are the maximum, minimum, and current, or last rate observed during the period displayed on the graph.
The values in [brackets] represent the total transfer used during the period displayed on the graph. - Out (Red) - Outbound traffic, 95th percentile. The line on the graph represents the 95th percentile calculation for the period displayed on the graph.
- In (Orange) - Inbound traffic, 95th percentile. The line on the graph represents the 95th percentile calculation for the period displayed on the graph.
- Port Status - The interface 'halo' (the section below '0' on the y-axis) will change color to reflect the status of the switch port. Up is green, down is red.
