Managing Device Group and Device Type Modules

Once you have created a device group or device type module, you can perform various actions on it. Ubersmith also allows you to plug in your own device modules.  Examples are available at Ubersmith Device Module Examples.

Editing Device Group and Device Type Modules

1. Access The Device Types page.

2. Click modules in a device group or device type row of the device type group or device type for which you want to add a module.

    
   The Device Group Modules or Device Modules page appears.

3. Click edit in the module row you wish to change. 

   The Edit Device Group Module or Edit Device Module page appears.

4. From the Edit Device Group Module or Edit Device Module page, make any necessary updates you need.

5. Click Update.

Deleting Device Group and Device Type Modules

1. Access The Device Types page.

2. Click modules in a device group or device type row of the device type group or device type for which you want to delete a module.
    

   The Device Group Modules or Device Modules page appears.

3. Click delete in the module row you wish to delete.
